Open Hockey at Palouse Ice Rink

Open Hockey is drop-in hockey for adults (18+) and youth (17 and under) — no league registration, no commitment, just sign up, show up and play. If you don’t sign up you’re still welcome to show up but please realize we cap each session at 22 players and 2 goalies, so your spot is not guaranteed. Sessions are open to all skill levels but sometimes we will offer sessions geared toward beginner, intermediate and advanced players.

Adult Open Hockey

Open to the first 22 skaters and 2 goalies to sign up. Full gear required.

Youth Open Hockey

For skaters 17 and under. Open to the first 22 skaters and 2 goalies. Full gear required. A parent or guardian may assist from the bench if desired. Skaters pay the youth session rate; goalies skate free.

Good to Know

  • If you sign up and can’t make it, call the rink ASAP at (208) 882-7188 so your spot can go to someone on the waitlist.
  • Waitlist spots open 5 minutes after session start for confirmed no-shows.
  • Check in and pay at the front office before stepping onto the ice.
