Figure Skating

Figure skating at Palouse Ice Rink

PIR hosts dedicated Figure Skating sessions open to the public: uncrowded ice set aside for jumps, spins, footwork, and program run-throughs. They’re ideal for independent practice, private lessons with a coach, and first-time visitors curious about the sport.

New to figure skating? Start with Learn to Skate, then add private lessons or join the Palouse Hills Skating Club as your skills grow. Session times are in the schedule below.

Please note: jumps, spins, and routines are not permitted during Public Skate. Figure skating practice must take place during dedicated figure skating sessions or club ice.

Private Lessons

Private and small-group lessons are available during figure skating sessions. Contact a coach directly to arrange instruction. For club and lesson inquiries: phscdirectorltsaspire@gmail.com or palousehillsscsecretary@gmail.com.
