he new ice rink has provided a favorable environment for the growth of all our programs. The following is a report highlighting the significant growth observed at the rink over the past few years.
Adult League
- 2020/21: 187 participants
- 2022: 203 participants
- 2023: 294 participants
- 4 leagues – 21 Teams X 20 games each = 210 games
40 new to hockey players in C League- PAP = 16 teams = 32 games
- Emerald Tournament = 4 teams – 16 games
- OT Tournament = 4 teams
- Women’s Care cup = 4 teams about 43 people
- Palouse Reveal = all out of town players = 6 teams
Learn to Skate
- 2020/21: 22 participants
- 2022: 50 Participants
- 2023: 58 winter participants

Curling
- 2022: 1 curling season of full participation
- 2023: 2 curling seasons of full participation

- Spring High School Hockey 14U/18U: 39 participants

Science on Ice
This is SOI’s 15 season, and we’re on track to have 341 students this year based on 3 more sessions scheduled, having had 12 sessions so far – TBA possibly 17 total this season.
There were 5,139 students total in years 1-14.
ACHA College Hockey
- 6 Games this season!!!!
- Attracts an average of 500 fans per weekend
- Generates about $1000 per game between ice sales and concessions
- WSU + UI Practice about 12x per semester = $3,120 in practice ice sales per team
