The chiller system at our rink is quite intricate. This year, we’ve also implemented an HVAC system to effectively control humidity levels in the air. It’s worth noting that the old rink never had such a system. Understanding the functionality of both the chiller (refrigeration plant) and HVAC system is essential.
Each system varies, even across different rinks, and comprehending how these machines operate under various conditions, such as weather and other variables, is crucial. Local HVAC professionals may not possess the specialized skills required to work on our systems, as they are quite unique.
