About Learn to Skate

Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced recreational skater, come improve your skills and fitness with Learn to Skate! Our courses are run under the guidelines of USFS Basic Skills Program. This program has been developed to provide a strong base of skating skills and techniques that will provide you with a lifetime of skating enjoyment, and give you the ability to move on to more challenging disciplines like dance, synchronized, speed, hockey, or figure skating!

This season's next Learn-to-Skate session begins on February 24. Classes are on Saturdays with levels for complete beginners to advanced skaters up to spins and single jumps for ages 5 to adults. Classes will be sorted by age and ability with class starting time at 12:15 or 12:45 pm depending on experience. Please arrive at least 20 minutes early to allow time for getting into skates. Sessions are $95 for six Saturdays (Feb 24 through March 31) and include skate rental and public session following class. Complete form, sign and submit to the rink at 1021 Harold ST, Moscow ID 83843 – make checks payable to:  Palouse Hills Skating Club (Check or cash preferred)
