Come Visit Our Community Rink!

We opened our doors for business on Monday afternoon and have been happy to see so many new and long-time community members and visitors come to skate (and just hang out!). Already this week, we've had some youth "Learn to Play Hockey" sessions; several youth hockey practices (PYHA and the Polar Bears!); the WSU and UofI women's hockey team practices; "Old Timers" hockey; two 5th-grade classes came together for the popular, "Science on Ice" program; and of course, lots of public skating!

Saturday will be busy, as the first session for the "Learn to Skate" program will take place, as well as a Referee clinic. Everyone else is asked to come and participate in the UofI Homecoming parade. (Parade starts at 10 a.m.; please meet at 9:15 a.m. near the Habitat for Humanity Resale Store and Dutch Bros. For more info, please contact Joanne Tirocke by email at nocitymouse@yahoo.com.)

On Sunday, there will be a special, "Learn to Curl" session, and figure skating sessions will begin!

There's something for everyone! We can't wait to see YOU on the ice!

The Palouse Ice Rink is your premier location for winter activities. We provide a community friendly atmosphere where individuals can enjoy a range of different activities from ice skating to curling. Learn more about the different programs we provide by exploring our website.
